PM2.5-Monitor-with-Portable-Battery
The PM2.5 Meter is a portable instrument that can measure and detect PM2.5 density in the air in real time; PM2.5 density is displayed on an LCD panel with LED indicators for air quality. The instrument also functions as a mobile battery, with four LEDs indicating remaining battery power. A buzzer alerts the user if the preset density threshold is exceeded or if the battery voltage drops below 2.8V.
The solution incorporates the RL78/L12, a low-power, compact LCD control MCU that includes I/O ports, an A/D converter, buzzer, LCD controller, STOP mode, and other functions. This device is ideal for small consumer electronics products. In addition, the ISL97656 (DC/DC converter IC) controls battery discharge and the ISL6294 (battery charger IC) controls battery charging; the EEPROM stores threshold values and PM2.5 concentration data (if the data volume is less than 2KB, the RL78/L12 built-in Flash can be used).
