Altera任命Bradley Howe为研发资深副总裁

2012年4月18号，北京——Altera公司(NASDAQ: ALTR)今天宣布，任命Bradley Howe为研发资深副总裁。对于这一职务，Howe先生全面负责Altera硅片产品、知识产权(IP)库和软件产品的开发，并监督公司全球研发组织。在此之前，Howe先生是Altera的IC设计副总裁。他直接向Altera总裁、CEO兼董事会主席John Daane负责。

Daane评论说：“Brad在公司的10年中，领导并发展壮大了IC设计组织，开发出了业界领先的产品。我们希望他能够在Altera的这一重要角色中再接再厉。”

Howe表示：“过去的10年中，我一直受到Altera致力于先进技术、促进用户创新精神的激励。随着可编程平台在业界的不断拓展，我希望能够为公司战略和远景发展贡献一份力量。”

在加入Altera之前，Howe先生曾在C-Cube微系统公司、Clearwater网络公司以及SandCraft等公司担任过高级主管职位。他有28年的工程经验，曾在Bytex、Prime Computer以及Olivetti Research等公司担任过职务。他获得了波士顿大学的电子工程科学学士和硕士学位。
