将发布键值驱动技术，其在单个3.5英寸的外形中集成大容量HDD、高性能SSD和计算存储

东京—东芝公司（TOKYO：6502）今日宣布，将于2015年5月18-22日在加拿大温哥华举行的2015年度OpenStack 峰会上展示键值对象存储技术。
 

随着数据存储需求显著扩大。现在数据中心发现很难预测他们需要多大的存储容量，所以需要可以提供灵活性和可扩展性的存储系统。在典型系统中，存储设备具有相同的规格，这样可以提高效率。然而，基于HDD和NAND闪存技术取得的不断进步，全球正生产出各种类型的存储设备，为高效的系统运行和管理带来了挑战，而基于共享规格的设备的存储系统在扩展存储容量时缺少灵活性。
 

东芝创新的键值对象存储技术是一个新颖的解决方案，可实现容量的高效扩展，因为所述存储器可通过使用键值来管理数据。
 

东芝将在2015年度OpenStack峰会上展示两项键值对象存储技术。

1.在3.5英寸的尺寸中集成HDD、SSD和64位CPU的性能优化模型。

2.为数据归档配置大容量HDD的容量优化模型。

两个模型尺寸均为3.5英寸，适用于典型系统。
