The LPC1500 series are 72 MHz ARM Cortex-M3 based MCUs with optimized motion-control peripherals that simplify development and reduce time-to-market for motion-control applications. Equipped with interconnected 2 Msps ADCs, on-chip comparators, high-speed PWMs with dead time, on-chip comparators, and NXP’s flexible switch matrix these advanced MCUs are ideal for motion-control applications in industrial and consumer applications.

Solutions for the LPC1500 include:
High-precision motion control for brushless DC (BLDC) and permanent magnet Synchronous motor (PMSM) sensorless motors
Simultaneous control of up to two motorsTypical applications
Motor-control applications in consumer (large home appliances), commercial (HVAC/elevator/escalator control), and industrial (pumps/generators used in hydroelectric and oil/gas industries)
Digital power supplies, data logging, and remote sensing
