The Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovators report analyzed patent data  related to filing success, invention influence, global scope and patent volume over a five-year period.

 

Thomson Reuters Top100 Global Innovators:
•Spent U.S. $208 billion on R&D in 2013;  On a year-over-year basis, Top 100 Global Innovators increased their total R&D spending by nearly 17 percent.
•Were led by the Semiconductor and Electronic Components industry which, including ST, had 21 representative companies on this year’s list.
