Award recognizes improvements in quality performance and logistics in Plastic-Mechatronics & Connectors category

 

LISLE, IL – September 18, 2012 – Molex Incorporated announced today that it has won a 2011 Supplier of the Year Award from Continental in the Plastic-Mechatronics & Connectors category. The award was presented to Molex by Continental’s head of global cluster management, Matthias Epe, at the company’s recent supplier day held in Berlin, which was attended by 116 of Continental’s strategic suppliers.

The selection of Molex as Supplier of the Year followed analysis by Continental of the services provided by its most important suppliers, with key factors for selection including quality, technology, logistics, costs and purchasing conditions. Molex won the award in the Plastic-Mechatronics & Connectors category, which reflects the company’s outstanding quality performance and improvements, best-in-class logistics performance and overall best-in-class support.
